My Own Entertaining Composer Conversations

Musing: I have composed music and songs for many years, and once in a while I play my pieces for friends. I never have sung or played professionally (although I do believe my voice could have worked in a career). The thing is that I never really learned to sight-read or transcribe the pieces I’ve composed.

I’ve had to record everything I’ve ever done because otherwise the music would be lost. Obviously, it’s easy enough to keep the lyrics – but for the most part just about all the stuff I’ve written is gathering dust in a manila file folder. Hopefully the articles that I and contributors decide to put here on the site will be better preserved. I can only hope.
